Bundle Dye Kit
Repurpose your flowers in the convenience of your own home with this bundle dye kit. Results will vary depending on flowers used. Machine washable. The kit includes:
Written instructions plus access to kit instructions online.
Selected fabric—scoured, mordanted, and ready to dye
Organic dried marigold and rose petals to supplement your chosen flowers (can be fresh or frozen—always save your petals in the freezer for future use!)
Silk ribbon for binding the bundle
Ferrous sulfate to create moody tones (optional). Please note that ferrous sulfate should be kept away from children and pets. Children should be supervised for this project. Additional safety information can be found here.
You will need distilled vinegar, tongs, a container that you don’t use for food, and a pot with a steamer basket and lid to complete this project. If you are using the ferrous sulfate, a pair of gloves is recommended. Please tag @hellenius_botanicals in your photos!
